Lakkis Farm is nested in the heart of Beqaa, away from any source of pollution. The farm provides a safe and healthy environment for its cattle. The cows are nutritiously fed and undergo routine medical checkups, for we believe that improving animal welfare increases and raises the quality of production. In other words, a happy cow is a healthy cow, and a healthy cow produces better milk!
Lakkis cows are fed organic fodder and milked using ALPRO feeding systems to monitor and control milk production. Each cow’s udder is sanitized before milking and the milk is drawn safely and gently. It is automatically transferred into sanitized pipe so that it doesn’t get exposed to any germs. At last, it is chilled at 4°C in a milk cooling tank which is automatically cleaned following each milk collection.
